The ultimate challenge for mountain infantry will take place from 23rd febr to 27th febr 2015 in the “TUXERALPEN” in TYROL.
This high alpine race extends over a distance of 40km, covering 4000 meters of elevation gain.Within the two-day challenge, participating teams have to accomplish several en route challenges common to mission accomplishment tasks in high alpine surroundings.
The competition requires:
- A team consisting of eight men/womensoldaten
- Extraordinary leadership and team effort
- Skiing and technical alpine skills
- to overcome several military challenges en route
- the ability to march on skiis in full battle dress
- an extraordinary stamina level of the participants
